Led development on national-scale Power Platform projects, designing model-driven apps and custom pages integrated with Dataverse, Power Automate, and wider platform tooling. Partnered with architects and mentored developers to shape technical direction and delivery. Built advanced customisations including dataset-based PCF components (such as a custom calendar), XML reader components, JavaScript form/ribbon enhancements, and automation flows for SharePoint/document generation, notifications, and business process orchestration. Delivered robust technical solutions across C#, plugins, unit testing, SQL/virtual tables, and offline model-driven app patterns. Also supported quality through standards, code reviews, backlog refinement, and DevOps practices. Worked closely with clients, BAs, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable designs using Dataverse, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and monitoring tooling. Produced wireframes/documentation, led demos, supported hiring/training, and was recognised with the Fujitsu Silver Star Award for Innovation and Aspiration.

This role is in partnership with (and based at) Tech-Wales Ltd. Produced custom applications and APIs for internal use as well as external SME clients. These applications were created utilising Power Platform (PowerApps/Power Automate). Swagger, Open Api and Oauth 2.0 were utilised to generate a custom REST API that integrated with the Xero Accountancy Platform and Power Platform to Automate workflows. Furthermore, I have created enhanced customizations via PCF controls and JavaScript web resources to improve the functionality as well as the user experience of the apps. In addition to this, I have integrated some applications with SQL Server, used to retrieve, submit and or update/delete data. This SQL integration also included implementing stored procedures for usage with Power Automate.

I improved internal processes - Implemented DevOps and a basic DevOps pipeline for deployment, instructed other developers how to do this and provided a script that can be added during the deployment process.

Enhanced power platform functionality by creating Plugins and workflow extensions using C# and custom actions, that integrate with Power Automate to perform complex calculations that are difficult/not feasible to implement within base Power Automate.

Created a PowerApps portal with custom theming, functionality and animations. Utilised Liquid Tags, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript to handle custom functionality, embedded maps, configured security protocols, SharePoint integrations and more.
